Bokeh Karaoke Bar and Lounge
With two branches, one in Sea Point and a brand-new venue in Claremont, Bokeh has quickly become a go-to for karaoke lovers. The vibe is warm, lively and full of good energy, whether you’re there to sing or just watch the brave ones take the stage.
The Sea Point spot comes alive from 6pm most days, making it ideal for an evening out, while the Claremont branch offers lunchtime dining and cocktails to ease into the fun. Drinks are plentiful, the food menu is solid, and the staff know how to keep the atmosphere buzzing. Bokeh is also great for special occasions – think birthdays, themed parties, or even a bachelor/bachelorette night with a difference.

Dizzy’s
Over in Camps Bay, Dizzy’s has karaoke nailed down to a weekly ritual. It started off as a Tuesday night event, but thanks to its popularity, you can now sing your heart out every Tuesday and Thursday from 9pm.
Arrive a little earlier to make the most of happy hour (4–7pm) and line your stomach with some of their hearty pub grub, the burgers are particularly popular. And if you’re back another night, Dizzy’s often hosts live music on Fridays or the occasional beer pong tournament, so there’s always something happening.

Fullhouse Bar and Grill
Tucked away in Newlands, Fullhouse offers a different kind of karaoke experience. Here, you can book private karaoke rooms, which is ideal if you’d rather avoid singing in front of strangers. The song selection is varied, covering everything from K-pop to current chart hits and timeless classics, so there’s something for everyone.
It’s not just about karaoke, either. Fullhouse also puts on quiz nights, making it a fun all-rounder for groups who enjoy a bit of variety in their evening plans.

Korean Kitchen
For a more authentic noraebang-style evening, Korean Kitchen in Claremont ticks all the boxes. By day, it’s a traditional Korean restaurant serving BBQ and other delicious dishes. By night (or even lunchtime), the private karaoke rooms are ready and waiting.
Open seven days a week from 11:30am to 9pm, it’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a proper meal before retreating to a private room to sing with friends. It’s casual, fun, and very different from the larger bar-style karaoke nights.
