With the warm weather still very much in the air and the wind starting to drop. Here is a list of some of our top picks for What's happening in Cape Town March 2018. ### Movie Night at the Two Oceans Aquarium The Two Oceans Aquarium is going to be screening the movie Optimist. It's an inspiring story about a man, his dream, a small boat and his story. Enjoy watching the movie surrounded by the sea creatures at the aquarium. Tickets are R125 per person and include a small dinner, popcorn and the movie. Lastly, the event is taking place on the 2nd or March at 6:30PM.   ### Cape Town Motor Show A fantastic spectacle of the motoring industry. If you love anything with a motor, this show is not to be missed. There will be some great shows and of course the classic beauties to see. The event will be taking place at Grand West Casino during 2-4 March. Tickets prices range from R75 - R1500.   ### West Side Story This month, the worldwide phenomenon musical starts showing at the Artscape Theatre. Come and enjoy this most loved show from the 7th of March. Tickets are from R150.   ### Cape Town Cycle Tour One of the worlds most beautiful and largest timed cycle tours. This amazing race is taking place on the 11th of March. If you are taking place, we are also offering a 5% discount if you can show us proof of your entry. If you're not participating, come along to cheer for the brave entrants.   ### Cape Town Carnival Another year has rolled past and we get to welcome back the Cape Town Carnival. This exciting spectacle shows of our incredible city, it's culture and heritage. Be sure not to miss this event taking place on the 17th of March at 7PM. Be sure to get your tickets so you don't miss out on this beautiful event.   ### Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts While we are still in our warm summer months, be sure to take in the experience of watching a concert at Kirstenbosch Gardens. Below are the bands/musicians taking the stage this month. -   ### Concerts in the Park Held in De Waal Park, these concerts are free entry and are for the whole family. It's such a great experience where people from all walks of life come to enjoy some of SA's best musical acts. Here are the performers this month. Fokofpolisiekar on the 4th. Freshly Ground on the 18th.   ### Cape Town Jazz Festival Another one of the Capes amazing annual spectacles this month. Taking place from the 17th - 25th. There are so many incredible local and international Jazz acts to be seen. Furthermore, if you need accommodation, we still have some great options available.   ### SA International TattooConvention If you're looking to get some more ink or get your first tattoo or purely see the incredible artwork this is a convention to be at. With over 80 artists from all over the world, there is so much to see. The convention is taking place at the Lookout at the V&A Waterfront from 23-25 March.   ### Cape Town Sixes This is a family fun festival and is taking place at the Green Point Cricket Club. Watch some great cricketers compete and enjoy various other activities. The event is taking place on the 24th and 25th and you can find your tickets [here](https://www.capetownsixesfestival.com). ### Open Streets Mitchell's Plain Yet another one of Cape Towns great Open streets festivals. These festivals are really something to experience with people coming from all areas to enjoy a part of Cape Town without worrying about sticking to the sidewalk. There are food vendors and other great stalls and shops to visit.
