If you want to know what's happening in Cape Town this October read on.   Dance Festival at the Baxter Theatre This annual festival is taking place 6-15 October and is 10 days of amazing dance. With local and international dancers and choreographers taking to the stage to perform over 65 routines. Tickets range from R130-R320.     International Buskers' Festival Taking place at the V&A Waterfront on the 5th - 8th this is a festival you won't want to miss. With so much amazing local talent as well as some international acts in on place. There will be 80 performances in total with something for everyone including circus acts, musicians, artists and so much more. Additionally, thereis live music, games, food and drinks and some exhibitions to be checked out. The festival takes place on the 8th and tickets cost R100. If you've ever been to Boulders Beach and fallen in love with these little guys, why not help them out by going to this festival. Entries have unfortunately closed for this year but go along and support on the 8th. Each year this run donates funds to a different charity but it's all about helping out the community. It is hosted by Cape Mental Health and all profits will go towards helping out people with mental health disabilities in disadvantaged areas. In addition,it's a fun day out where you watch the professionals or fly your own kite. There are so many great international and local acts to be seen. It's a great weekend of fun!     Season of Sauvignon The [Dubanville Wine Valley](https://www.noxrentals.com/blog/top-cape-wine-routes/) brings you this festival on the 28th and 29th. There is lots of great wine to be drunk and activities for the kids.     South African Horror Fest As Halloween is around the corner, what better way to celebrate it than watching a terrifying movie at the Labia Theatre in Cape Town. It's taking place 26 October to 3 November and there is a great line up of movies. To find out more visit the site [here](http://www.horrorfest.info/).     Open Streets Main Road The next event on this great initiative is taking place on the 1st between Main Road Observatory and the CBD. A 5km stretch of road will be closed to cars so people canwalk, skate, cycle etc freely through the streets.
