Franschhoek
With french influences throughout the town, Franschhoek is a little slice of France in South Africa. There is lots to do and see in the great town. One of the favourite tourist is attractions in the Franschhoek Wine Tram. This Hop-on Hop off tour is one of the best, and of course safest ways to visit the wineries. Just a 45 minute drive from the cityand host to the famous Stellies (Stellenbosch University). This town is a hub of excitement and activity. No matter what time of the year you decide to visit there is something to do here. With beautiful heritage buildings and incredible scenery in one of the oldest European settlements. This Cape Wine Route is the second oldest route in the counrty. As a result it has some of the best wine farms and produces some of the tastiest wine. Durbanville
Last but not the least on our list is Durbanville. If you are short for time in Cape Town then this route is perfect. Furthermore it's only a short 20 minute drive from the city.
