Not only does South Africa produce some of the best wine in the world butwe also have some of the most beautiful wineriesto visit just here in the Cape. There areover 10 amazing Cape Wine Routes to visit. Below are some of our wineries and the routes they are in.

Constantia Valley

Take a tour on theHop-on Hop-off Red Bus route, drive on your own or get a guided wine tour. This Cape Wine Route is set amid someof Cape Towns mostluscious surroundings. Franschhoek

With french influences throughout the town, Franschhoek is a little slice of France in South Africa. There is lots to do and see in the great town. One of the favourite tourist is attractions in the Franschhoek Wine Tram. This Hop-on Hop off tour is one of the best, and of course safest ways to visit the wineries. Stellenbosch

Just a 45 minute drive from the cityand host to the famous Stellies (Stellenbosch University). This town is a hub of excitement and activity. No matter what time of the year you decide to visit there is something to do here. With beautiful heritage buildings and incredible scenery in one of the oldest European settlements. Paarl

This Cape Wine Route is the second oldest route in the counrty. As a result it has some of the best wine farms and produces some of the tastiest wine. This beautiful small town is only a 40 minute drive from Cape Town. It boasts spectacular views and family fun. If you are looking for more information visit their website. Durbanville

Last but not the least on our list is Durbanville. If you are short for time in Cape Town then this route is perfect. Furthermore it's only a short 20 minute drive from the city.
