Walking on the Camps Bay beachfront yesterday afternoon, you would be forgiven for second guessing Cape Town's apparent winter season. Think bronzed bikini bodies, ice creams melting off the stick and groovy reggae music pumping from the bustling bars and restaurants on the strip.A balmy 27 degrees Celsius makes it easy to forget that it's supposed to be winter in Cape Town, and the nights might be nippy - but that is a problem easy solved by a glass of red wine in front of the fire. Winter in Cape Town really is the best of both seasons rolled into one.
